Sliding partitions are designed from aluminium profiles with metal bearing rollers produced by RIVAL (Norway) and NOTEBORN (Holland) companies. Aesthetically looking doors with aluminium profiles may be used to divide a kitchen, a bedroom, working space or salesrooms, and at the same time to save the wholeness of the space. SPLIT series of NOTEBORN systems, one door may be up to 3.0 m height and up to 3.0 m width. However, even this is not the maximum limit. In premises with high ceilings elements of the partition may be mounted above each other, fixing the stationary parts at the top. The partition sliding doors may move by one-rail, two-rail or three-rail tracks fixed on the floor, and when using a special top track with mounted rollers the doors may also move by the upper part of the structure. The high-quality bearing rollers ensure easy and quiet sliding of the doors. The system may be provided with the door locking device.
The materials most frequently used as fillers for the partition

systems are opaque, tinted, patterned or transparent glass, which may be covered with varicoloured films, laminated chipboard plates, wicker plates or plates covered with natural plant fiber wallpapers. The solid filler of the doors may be divided by horizontal aluminium insets. Door fillers may be used in various combinations, e.g., glass with plates, etc.
